The new year has barely started and Kikkoman is bustling with new activity! They are preparing for their familiar and new 2009 products and re-designing the packaging for California. I had the privilege to become to their contract packaging designer; the portfolio pieces are listed under the print design section.
Also, don't forget to look out for their 3 new mystery products for this 2009! I had to chance to taste test all the products and it was amazing! Kikkoman all the way! |

Web technology advances so fast, much of current industry standards are not taught in design schools. I had proposed a course at the Art Institute of California featuring WCMS. For web designers and non-web designers alike, this is a powerful tool for all creative students. This class will be available in the Winter section:
WEB DESIGN FOR NON-WEB DESIGNERS
This course explores the presentation, documentation, and technical skills relevant to current industry web standards. Students will explore creative and technical aspects of developing a basic understanding of WCMS: Joomla to create complex websites - such as e-commerce, social networking, portfolio building, and etc. - through a range of exercises and group projects. Additionally, methods for organizing the management of projects, creative decision-making and labor distribution will be introduced.
